Using this website
How to tell an official City Hall website
Official pages of Grand Peninsula City Hall say so at the top. Look-alike sites and false messages are common, and these checks take less than a minute.
- Official name
- Grand Peninsula City Hall
- Also known as
- The Union Government of Peninsula
- Affiliated City
- PortsMere City Hall, with its own website
Look at the top of the page
Every official page begins with the line "The official website of the Union Government of Peninsula" and has a dark red border along the top edge. A page that looks like ours but has neither is not ours.
Check the notice number
Every public notice has a number, for example Notice No. 2026/417, and is listed in the Newsroom. If someone sends you a notice that is not listed there, City Hall did not publish it.
What City Hall will not ask
City Hall will not ask for a password or a full identity number by email or text message. It will not ask you to pay a tax, fine or fee by message or phone call. If you get a request like that, do not reply to it.
PortsMere City Hall
Portsmere has its own city hall, which runs tax, education and transport in Portsmere from its own website. That website is official too, but it is not this one. Matters reserved to the Union are handled here.
If you are not sure
Contact City Hall using the details at the foot of any page, and tell us how you received the message. We would rather be asked than have you pay or share something by mistake.
