Accessibility statement
This website is for everyone who lives in or visits the Grand Peninsula. This statement says how accessible it is and what we are still working on.
- Standard we work to
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA
- Status
- Not yet fully audited
- Prepared
- 22 October 2026
What works
Every page has a link at the top to skip to the main content. Pages can be used with the keyboard alone, and links and buttons show a clear outline when selected. Text can be enlarged in the browser without losing content. Moving elements on a page are switched off for people who have asked their device to reduce motion. Tables on pages such as Getting around become lists on small screens.
What we are still working on
We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit. The population figure on the home page updates while the page is open, and we are still testing how screen readers announce it. Some images are decorative and have no description.
